All of our tiles are handmade and hand painted. Slight variations in each tile's size, weight and paint should always be expected. Some crazing marks will be
noticeable and the tiles may not be perfectly flat or square. These characteristics are not faults. The imperfections of Talavera tiles are what gives them their antique look, personality and charm. Talavera
tiles are a form of ceramic art and should not be compared to machine-made tiles.

All of our tiles are inspected prior to import and our artisan suppliers do not deal in seconds or off-cuts. Our tiles are authentic and not imitation Mexican tiles. Our tiles showcase painted designs that are timeless and have been created by true Mexican artisans. We do not stock tiles with lacklustre paint work and colours, chipped corners, or mass-produced using modern techniques. Our tiles truly are handmade and handpainted.
